We are a female-founded business - but that's not all.

Marianne Fernandes, the founder of [Prototype] Gin, has a wealth of experience in startups and business. She has worked in various roles, including marketing and sales, which have given her a broad perspective on the industry. But it was her passion for gin that led her to start her own company.

With years of knowledge and experience in the startup industry, Marianne knew she had what it takes to create a unique and exceptional product. She spent countless hours researching distilleries both in the US and UK, until she found the perfect mix of tradition and innovation.

Born in London, Marianne moved to New York City. Her journey inspired the creation of [Prototype] Gin, a brand that reflects the diverse and dynamic energy of the city. Using honey made by streetwise bees from the High Line in NYC and a traditional British method of distilling artisanal gin based just outside London, Marianne has created a spirit that truly captures the essence of both cities.

At [Prototype] Gin, we believe that diversity is key to success. Our team is made up of individuals from all walks of life, with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. This diversity allows us to approach our work with fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.

Inclusion and diversity are values that we hold dear at [Prototype] Gin. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect and openness, where everyone can thrive.

Marianne Fernandes is not only a talented entrepreneur but also one of the few women in the spirits industry. Her journey is a testament to the power of hard work and dedication, and her success is proof that anything is possible with passion and determination.

At [Prototype] Gin, we are proud to be a part of her vision, and we look forward to continuing to create exceptional craft gin that reflects our values of inclusion, diversity, and sustainability.
